Week 29 (8/36) in Review

Week 29 started off with a lot of hopes and expectations. It was to be the first 60 mile week of the year. This goal was not realized. In the words of a great philosopher "doh". On Tuesday I noticed a tweaking pain in my upper right butt just below my hip bone. I powered through a Wednesday 5 miler only to hardly be able to walk on Thursday. I rested a day and made it a mile on Friday before I couldn't take it any longer. It appears to be an IT band injury or a muscle imbalance. To rememdy this as quick as possible, I decided to start stretching (start...) and have added athletic yoga into my workout routine. We'll see what happens.
